Weeks of Guided Prayer in Universities

A chance to experience Ignatian spirituality in the course of your normal university life.

Participants in a University week of guided prayer are asked to commit themselves to half an hour of prayer a day. They will also have a daily meeting, lasting up to half an hour, with a trained prayer guide. In the course of the week there will be optional workshops on ways of praying, on discernment and decision making and on images of God and how they influence our prayer. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow in relationship with Christ by giving time to develop your life of prayer.

The programme of retreats is coordinated by Stephen Hoyland, a member of the team at the Loyola Hall Jesuit Spirituality Centre, together with the University Chaplains. Most of the retreats listed below are ecumenical events. For more information, please email Stephen at stephenhoyland@yahoo.co.uk
